Listed on the Washington County Veterans' Association's Roster of Surviving Civil War Soldiers as living in Belpre in 1914. (Roster of Union War Veterans Residing in Washington County, Ohio October 1, 1914). Died in Belpre Township of chronic "valvular heart disease".
