UNITED STATES CIVIL WAR VETERANS

Submitted by

Mark Jennings

The following list was compiled by Bernard McCarthy, Chancey Miller & Joseph Schroeder of the cemetery. I saw that many of these men were buried in the GAR section of the cemetery...again side by side with white soldiers...in this large, old cemetery. The brochure also gives a brief bio of every Civil War soldier in the cemetery along with a section number. There are about 600 soldiers in all.
